Henry Zavala Sr. has been a Roatán resident since 1999, spending over 25 years building his name and this island’s trust. A licensed attorney by training, he brings a legal foundation to every transaction — title verification, ownership history, and contract structure are not afterthoughts for him. They are the first conversation.
For over a decade, he co-founded and operated Blue Roatán Resort in West Bay, building it from a single structure into one of the island’s most recognized hospitality projects. Beyond the legal side, Henry has personally overseen the development of every property in the portfolio — coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors throughout Roatán and Honduras. From Palm Paradise to the land projects currently listed, he has been hands-on at every stage. Every property Properties in Roatán sells was built, developed, or acquired under his direction.

Henry Zavala Jr. was born and raised in Roatán — the island is the only home he has ever known. He entered real estate young, starting by translating documents for English-speaking clients and learning the process from the ground up alongside his father. He later trained at Roatán Land and Homes, one of the island’s leading agencies, before launching Properties in Roatán.
Henry Jr. manages the side of the business that connects the agency to the world — the website, social media, buyer communications, and the digital presence that brings international clients to the door. His background in business development and sales, combined with growing up bilingual on the island, means he understands exactly what a foreign buyer needs to feel confident about a purchase in Roatán.
